Anonymous asked: What does it feel like to be in love from the male prospective? We all know the female one, but no one ever counts in guy's points of view.

I mean, I’m not one to ask. Part of my diagnosis for depression included that I both have a hard time describing my emotions while minimizing them, and have a hard time feeling positive emotions.

So…I’m going to try and up-play what I feel in a more romantic light so that you know how people feel when they’re normal.

Butterflies, looking into her eyes and her face and just knowing she’s the one, a constant longing to have her in my arms and to kiss her all over and have her be mine and no one elses. Jealousy at every guy in the room or in her life that is close enough to get a hug or a kiss or sometimes even just attention from her at all.

But then she’s finally yours and you need her. All the time. It’s like a neverending cycle of “oh there you are!” and then she’s not and you want to kiss her and love her and be playful and nice to her all the time and yeah.

Well, there’s horny stuff too because penis hormones, but that’s not lovey-dovey, is it?
